We are well on our way to a new home! I am loving my new walls and can't wait to finish the rest of the house. It was a long process, especially since Matt and I are both perfectionists. But overall I am very happy with the outcome. What do you think?
Piper even helped out a bit, while heavily supervised!
And here is the finished project. The color reminds us of hot chocolate. YUM! I wasn't too sure when it was going up, but I am really happy with. Heck, anything was going to be better than what was there. Well, almost anything.
Okay so now we are onto the foyer and dining room. I got a lot of positive response on the green for the dining room and will probably go with that and try to find a color in the same family for the kitchen since they run into each other. Now I need help with the foyer. What do you think? This is the view when you walk in the front door. Excuse the horrible light. That will be replaced ASAP!
I am really loving the purple in the below post, but am not quite sure if it will work in the foyer. Be honest, I can take it. I am for sure going to use it my bathroom so it is not a total loss. And speaking of bathrooms....I figured I should show you why I am not allowed to pick colors or paint by myself. This is pretty bad people, you have been warned!
And I wanted to show off this painting that Piper did when she was only 4 years old. She is Matt's mini-me in so many ways. What a kid!

I love the color in your family room! It really warms up the room, I can't wait to see how the other rooms turn out! Looks like you guys are having fun! We miss you!!
I LOVE the color!! I can't wait to see it in real life!!!
It looks awesome! It's so warming-- exactly like a cup of hot chocolate! I love it! As for the ideas for the entry... I have no idea! I think something with an earth tone.. maybe champagne? I don't know!
I love it!!! I can't wait to come see your home when I come in Nov!!! Love you!
I LOVE THE CHOCOLATE HOUSE!! And you were very brave to post that blue picture! *laughing* Congrats on new paint!!! :D
Yeah I love the room it looks great I would do the foyer the same color because they are so connected I think it would make the space seem smaller if you did it two different colors. But that is my humble opinion.... good luck can't wait to see more.
I'm so glad we finally got to see the new paint and 'do in person! They are both even more stunning in real life!
